About Me
So, I am a long-time teacher and now I'm working at uLethbridge as an assistant professor of educational psychology and inclusion. Shout-out to my fam: my two daughters and my wife supported me through grad school and, remarkably, were still willing to come with me across the country. Not for nothing, my wife currently teaches high school in Lethbridge and she is definitely a scrappy teacher!
I've taught in grades throughout elementary and middle school, but most of my time was in grades four and five—go Terry Fox Titans! I also taught in a specialized room for students with autism spectrum disorder.
What I love most about this work is that I get to talk to teachers all the time about their programs and their inclusive practices. I do research on play, inclusive teaching, and the learning brain.
